Jones Yarn and Jones Fiber, now known as Jones Nonwovens, has announced the newly rebranded Jones Family of Companies. Founded in 1936, Jones was formed through a partnership between two brothers and today is led by a third generation committed to these same standards. Executives decided the company’s 80th year in business was the perfect time for the change. “We’re very much a company committed to meeting expectations and achieving the results that we intend to achieve,” says Richard Ayers, CEO/CFO, Jones Family of Companies. “Our decision to rebrand is one that we feel will allow us to best continue maintaining a high quality in our relationships, products and services.” Through the years with Jones Yarn, its spinning operations produced yarns for a wide variety of textile products; however, yarns for wet mopping, dry mopping and specialty cleaning applications constituted their primary focus. Today, Jones’ corporate strategies for the floor care market include a number of specifically engineered products, targeted programs, quality services and global sourcing. Jones Nonwovens is just as valuable to the firm’s overall success. Markets for the division includes sleep products, furniture, packaging, acoustics, and automotive and floor care. As a family business, Jones Nonwovens combines tradition, sustainability and a forward-looking approach. Jones Nonwovens is guided by its core values of Integrity, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Integrated Products and Business Stewardship, as well as a passion for business results. These values act as an internal compass for employees and provide a foundation for sustained success. Jones Nonwovens actively participates in the Southern Cotton Ginners Association, the Southeastern Ginners Association and the Specialty Sleep Association. Jones Nonwovens is well prepared to meet the challenges of the future with our new market and product innovations, consistent customer focus and commitment to responsible manufacturing.
